Site Specific Information for Georgia
ARRIVAL: When you arrive at the University of Georgia, proceed to Creswell Hall dormitory where registration will take place in the lobby. Creswell Hall is located at the corner bounded by Baxter Street, Finley Street, and Cloverhurst Avenue. There is a large parking lot that can accommodate bus parking across Finley Street from Creswell Hall. Interactive and printable maps can be found on the website (http://maps.uga.edu/) that show the locations of all buildings being used.
HOUSING: Students and coaches will be housed in Creswell Hall. A printed map of the campus will be given to the coaches at registration. The $65 per person charge assumes a double occupancy room with a Friday night stay. For any additional requested single rooms, teams will be charged $65 plus an additional $15 per room for a total of $80. Only two single rooms per team will be reserved for coaches for no additional charge. Teams will not be charged for additional single rooms that arise due to an odd number of students or coaches of the same gender. This price includes breakfast and lunch on Saturday. For teams who wish to stay at the University of Georgia dorm either Thursday or Saturday night (or both), teams will be charged for all rooms at the rate UGA charges ARML: $22 per double bed per night and $35 per single bed per night.
All teams are expected to have registered all students and coaches on the ARML website by May 13, 2011. It is the responsibility of the coaches to make sure all keys are returned from your team. Teams will be held financially responsible for all lost OR unreturned keys ($45 per key). FLYING TO ATLANTA? If your team will be flying into the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and you would like to secure a transportation from the airport to the University of Georgia in Athens, the following shuttle services are available:

FRIDAY: On Friday evening, there will be two official events. A meeting for new coaches will begin at 7:30, with a full Coaches' Meeting starting around 8:00 pm ? these will be held in the Georgia Center for Continuing Education Room F/G. A speaker for the students will be held in a yet to be determined location at 8:00 pm, followed by a reception set aside for students to have snacks and soft drinks. There will be no competition on Friday evening. There are also recreational activities available, either for free, or a nominal fee.
SATURDAY: Following breakfast in Oglethorpe Dining Commons on Saturday, the competition will begin with the Team Round followed by a five-minute break and then the Power Round. These rounds will take place in Aderhold Hall ? each teams classroom assignments will be available at registration on Friday. All the teams will then report to the Georgia Center Mahler Auditorium, which is approximately three blocks from Aderhold Hall. Proctors will return the solutions to the stage at the front of Mahler Auditorium in the Georgia Center. The Individual Round will begin when all teams are seated. After the Individual Round, there will be a lunch break. After lunch the teams will reassemble in the Georgia Center Mahler Auditorium for the Relay Rounds and the Individual Tiebreakers, followed by the Awards Assembly.
TOWELS, SOAP, ETC. Remember to bring your own personal items (toothbrush, soap, etc.), for use in the dorm. The University does provide bedding (two sheets, blanket, pillow and pillowcase, two bath towels, and a wash cloth), although some students prefer to bring their own pillow and towel. LUNCH ON SATURDAY: Lunch will be served in Oglethorpe Dining Commons, which is about three blocks from the Georgia Center.
